Alan Knight
Alan Knight was born in Swinton, Lancashire. Alan worked as a professional musician during the 1970's and 80's.
He enrolled in an Art and Design course at Salford University, completing it in 1989.
In recent years Alan has become more and more established as a leading Northern painter, and his passion for the landscape, whether it urban or rural, is a breath of fresh air in a genre crowded with mills and chimneys.
